REDS

• 2007 Noble Rouge VQA $19.80: ***NEW RELEASE*** The Noble Rouge is a serious yet friendly dry red house wine that will enhance your casual dining pleasure.  On the nose you will find black cherries and hints of chocolate.  Some firm but elegant tannins support the fresh and flashy fruit character of this wine.  This could become your favourite partner to grilled steak or roast beef dishes… or the perfect candidate for cellaring!
• 2006 Meritage VQA $22.80:  General comment on Meritage: Ontario Meritage is a Bordeaux-style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot.  The varietal percentage of the blend is at the discretion of the winemaker based on the characteristic of the vintage to achieve the best wine.   This medium bodied Bordeaux-style wine is all about elegance.  Fragrant and jammy blackberry and coffee notes is followed up with spice and moderate tannins on the palate.  This wine is best served with veal, pork tenderloin, or steak.
• 2006, Merlot, VQA: $16.80 (Sold out): Complex nose of dark cherry, raspberry and some leather. At the same time, ripe and firm, rich and fresh, the palate shows dark chocolate mixed with dark cherries with a touch of oak tannins at the end to structure, for a smooth intense finish. Very well balanced even if extremely soft, powerful but/and elegant, not a hot climate fruit bomb Merlot. Ready to drink!

WHITES

• Riesling, VQA: $16.80 (Sold out): Slightly off dry. Delicate floral (white flowers) notes on the nose with fresh citrus, flashy lemon and touch of tangerine. Nicely balanced between bright acidity of the lemon with a little touch of sweetness, orange/ tangerine. Nice cleansing finish on mineral components.
• 2008, Noble Blanc, VQA: $15.80: The Noble Blanc is a delightful blend of Riesling and Chardonnay fermented in stainless steel and bottle early. The refreshing taste is crisp with nuances of pineapple, citrus fruit and long honeyed finish to complete this easy afternoon sipper. It is best enjoyed with soft cheeses and light foods like salads with vinaigrette dressings and your favorite sandwich.

SPECIALITIES

• 2008 Cabernets Icewine, VQA (200ml) $35.00 : A blend of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon and 42% Cabernet Franc, this very special and unique blended Icewine shows lots of sweet fruit complexity balanced with structural acidity.  Aromas of strawberry and rhubarb give way to a honey-laced fruit cocktail on the palate.  Pair this with your favourite dessert or cheese plate.
